Chelsea vs Real Madrid bet-builder tips

Bet-builder tip 1: Real Madrid to win

Chelsea have lost four of their previous five games across all competitions and the gap in quality was evident at the Bernabeu last week as Real Madrid strolled to a 2-0 win. While the pressure is off the holders, you can still expect them to come out on the front foot. Real beat Chelsea 3-1 at Stamford Bridge in the quarter-finals last season and we can expect a similar result this time around.

Bet-builder tip 2: Karim Benzema to score any time

Benzema scored a hat-trick in that game 12 months ago and made it 90 Champions League goals with his tap-in last week. A goal in south-west London would put him level with Robert Lewandowski on the all-time goalscoring list for the competition, behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. He has 26 goals in 34 games across all competitions this season and adds good value to our bet builder.

Bet-builder tip 3: Over one goal in the game

While Chelsea conceded twice in their 2-1 defeat to Brighton at the weekend, Real beat Cadiz 2-0. Chelsea have yet to be totally hammered this term despite their poor form so over one goal in the game seems like the sensible selection. Madrid have scored more than once in each of their past six games and, as we have touched on, history suggests this game will have goals.

Bet-builder tip 4: Joao Felix over 0.5 shots on target

While Joao Felix has quietly impressed since arriving at Stamford Bridge on loan in January, he has not been the solution to Chelsea’s goalscoring problem. The 23-year-old led the line last week and managed two shots on target before being substituted after 65 minutes. In the Premier League, he averages 1.2 shots on target per match this term so we can expect him to at least hit the target.

Napoli vs AC Milan bet-builder tips

Bet-builder tip 1: Napoli to qualify

The quarter-finals are the furthest Napoli have ever gone in the Champions League but with home advantage in the second leg they will be confident of overturning a 1-0 deficit. Milan won 4-0 at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona this month but Napoli welcome back Victor Osimhen tonight and  have won their last four Champions League home games by at least two goals.

Bet-builder tip 2: Victor Osimhen to score any time

Osimhen’s return to the side cannot be understated. Europe’s hottest property has scored 25 goals in 30 appearances this campaign, including four in five Champions League games. Napoli were without the 24-year-old for the two recent defeats by Milan but he made his return from the bench at the weekend in a 0-0 draw with Hellas Verona.

Bet-builder tip 3: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia over 0.5 shots on target

Napoli’s success this season is not solely down to Osimhen with winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia also impressing. The Georgian has 14 goals and 16 assists in 34 games across all competitions this season. When these sides met last week, he had one shot on target, and he averages 1.12 shots on target per 90 minutes in Serie A this term.

Bet-builder tip 4: Olivier Giroud over 0.5 shots

Olivier Giroud has four goals in nine Champions League starts this season and managed one shot in the first leg last week. The 36-year-old is AC Milan’s first-choice centre-forward and was rested at the weekend with this game in mind. In Serie A, the former Arsenal and Chelsea man averages 3.49 shots per 90 minutes so looks set to have at least one effort on goal in Naples.
